With over 8 years of experience in the software and IT services industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work and learn across various sectors such as identity, healthcare, insurance, education, banking, e-commerce, among others.

I have several years of experience in UX/UI design, where I’ve worked on creating user-centered digital experiences, always looking for a balance between aesthetics and functionality. This background has given me a deep understanding of how to connect user needs with effective design solutions. My UX foundation gives me a unique perspective as a developer, as I always consider the user or developer experience when writing clean and efficient code.

I learned and participated in the development of an internal company aplication, aimed at managing advances and vacation requests. I worked as the lead developer on various internal platforms for Protección and on the evolution of an ecommerce site for selling vehicles insurance at Seguros Mundial. I’m currently focused on a neobank project for Banco Azteca in Mexico 🇲🇽, with the main development team based in Panama 🇵🇦.

I studied Systems Engineering for a while, but I ended up focusing on programming, which had always been my main interest. I decided to continue on a different path, more oriented toward web development from the visual side.

Since I was 12 years old, I discovered programming as a true passion that quickly became a fundamental part of my life. I wrote my first lines of code in Visual Basic, a language that was trending at the time and allowed me to explore and create intuitively. One of my main references was “elguille”, a website that played a crucial role in my learning and to which I hold a special appreciation, as it was key to my growth and the development of my skills.

In my free time, I really enjoy cycling 🚲, which helps me disconnect and stay active outdoors. I’m also passionate about trading 📈, where I find a constant challenge in analyzing markets, making strategic decisions and develop algorithms.
